A New Kind Of Nursing

Working in hospitals is not what it used to be RN-to-patient ratios have grown impossibly skewed, even when “guaranteed” ratios have been enacted. Now it’s a race against the clock to get everything done by end of shift, and somehow you never feel like you really gave your patients good care. Your supervisor waits till the last minute to give you your schedule, and you’re really tired of working holidays. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be your own boss?

Infusion of Care helps you to do just that. When you contract with us, you hire us to provide clerical services and billing services. Clerical services include scheduling patient visits on dates and times that you are available, verifying patient insurance coverage with the patient’s specialty pharmacy, obtaining current patient orders and displaying them to you, confirming patient visits for you and advising the pharmacy of the confirmed appointments so they will send out medications and supplies in time for the visits. Billing services include reviewing your visit records to verify pharmacy compliance, so there will be no rejection, billing the pharmacies for your nursing services, collecting payment, and depositing your money into your bank account. Your part is infusing the patient, billing for your services, and providing the completed visit records that document the infusions you’ve done. Our Clinical Liaison, Paul Franks, is available 24/7 to answer questions and provide advice based on his 35+ years of experience and our staff are there to help you get your money just as quickly as possible.

Because this is a contract position with tax ramifications, we encourage nurses to speak with their tax advisors about advantages and requirements for operating as a business.
